Street Rod Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky

From Auburn, Indiana, we went to Louisville, Kentucky, and the Street Eod Nationals. There we met our good friends Shirley & Bob Brown. Bob instigated this portion of our trip over the last year. He's been telling me how big this show is... and he is right! I think it's the biggest car event I've ever seen!!!  

Met up with our good friends frequently from Vero Beach & our AACA club members, Shirley & Bob Brown. Bob was the main instigator for this portion of our trip. He has been here many times & was a great guide for the area & show!

Airport was close by and was fun watching them land!

Lots of room in this 38 Ford! Met him at the jegs booth.

Live 7 piece band was great entertainment! Award cceremony awarded $53K in prizes and a Chevy truck grand prize! Over 9,200 cars here!!

After the show Friday night we couldn't find a place to park. All restaurants are full, but Bob finds a Elk Lodge for a fried chicken buffet! Very good! 

We met fellow Jerry Dixey road tourians at the show,  Mo & Joe.

Show was huge, biggest I've ever seen!

Big swap area had us hunting for a visor for Steve Gabor's truck... but no luck.
